Handy Guide to Fence Sizing

So you’re not quite sure how many fence panels you need?

That’s why we’ve built this guide to help you work things out as easily as possible.

If you have an existing fence

Count how many bays you have and select that number in the “Select the number of bays required” section at the bottom of the order form.

Using a tape measure

Each bay equals 1.9 metres or just over 6ft.

If measuring in feet, measure the total length of fencing you require in feet and divide that by 6, which will give you the number of bays required. For example, length required 48ft divided by 6 equals 8 bays.

If measuring in metres, measure the total length of fencing you require in metres and divide that by 1.9, which will give you the number of bays required.

Send photo(s)

If you could send 1 – 3 photos, via our contact form, I can normally work out measurements with surrounding features such as brickwork, or existing paving, to give me a suitable indication of the amount of bays required.

Still not sure?

Please just fill in our contact form and I’ll arrange to call round and give you a personal quotation.
